Just in the knick of time!
Here’s a quick peak at the way I’ve dolled up a few Easter touches around our home.
To my standard, silver candle sconces on the dining room table, I added a handmade grapevine basket (((that I made in art class in high school of all crazy things!))) full of various mosses and a few keepsake bunnies that were gifted to me and Dear Hubs when we were kids. Zsa Zsa dropped the little ceramic egg off at my house weeks ago. Appears that I painted it age 7. I was chevron before chevron was cool … who knew!
In the kitchen, I tossed an egg shaped garland around the chalkboard. I still really liked my “southern as sweet tea” design so I didn’t change it … hey, the eggs are festive enough, right?
The counter bar area has been sporting bunny chair covers and Easter egg place mats. In a room that is very neutral in color; the bright shades of these mats add a really fun touch. I procured both the covers and the felt mats from the dollar store a few years ago. I’d say they were a good purchase!
The kitchen table centerpiece is typically comprised of a large dough bowl of green plants. I added a little bunny as well as some wicker ones to the centerpiece. Lil B loves those wicker bunnies and most dinners have been spent making them “hop”. Oh the fun of a 2 year old!
