Happy Friday, y’all! When I shared my festive fall decor a week or so ago (over here), I confessed that I went more “fall” decor this year than “Halloween”. I feel like I owe it to you to share a few more oh so cute decorative touches just in time to celebrate the scariest of all days. Bestie K came through in a pinch :).
K is mom of two darling girls and when it comes to seasonal decorating … this mom has it down pat, she’s a total pro. Through the years, she has introduced me to a fun back to school tradition of pencil cake (that I can’t wait to start when Lil B goes off to elementary school) and has mastered the Christmas shrimp cocktail wreath. You name it; she makes it! I’m telling you … her crafty cup runneth over.
Here are a few pics from her haunted townhouse. These crafts are just too darling, don’t you agree? She made this witches skirt door hanger with tulle and burlap, isn’t it darling? I’m thinking we may have to do something like this for Christmas elfs, wouldn’t that be presh?
In her family room and kitchen, there are chevron painted pumpkins and cute orange touches at every turn.
As if that wasn’t just cute as can be … her mantle is simply OVER THE TOP!
I just love how she spares no bling and just overhauls the entire mantle during the month of October! A gal after my own heart :).
Little know fact, Bestie K is also the one that educated me about the ever so useful trick to optimize seasonal decor space. If you aren’t already, you absolutely should take your empty seasonal tubs (once the decor is out) and store your “regular” decor in them, a switcheroo of sorts. How smart is that ((and how did I not think of it???)?
Hope y’all are now sufficiently Halloween inspired and ready for the weekend (and last minute Halloween decorating … There’s still time!). Thanks for letting us take a sneak peak of your digs, dear K!
